About LayerZeroFault
Engineering air-gapped diagnostic tooling and forensic documentation for developers and custodians navigating distressed cryptographic states.
Our Mission
The transition toward modular blockchains, smart contract accounts (ERC-4337), device-bound passkeys (WebAuthn), and multi-chain address schemas has dramatically increased the complexity of self-custody. When an operation fails—such as a missing 24th BIP-39 checksum word, an unhandled userOp gas prefund revert (AA21), or an unseen derivation path discrepancy—users and developers often encounter dead-end error codes.
LayerZeroFault was established in 2026 to provide open, mathematically grounded troubleshooting guides and interactive browser-based utilities. We deconstruct low-level cryptographic protocols into reproducible diagnostic workflows that empower operators to restore visibility and control without relying on centralized intermediaries.
The Zero-Secrets Mandate
We maintain an uncompromising security policy: LayerZeroFault will never ask for, process, or log your 12- or 24-word seed phrase, mnemonic words, private keys, or wallet passwords.
Every interactive utility hosted on this site—including our BIP-39 Checksum Solver, ERC-4337 Calldata Decoder, Passkey Debugger, and Derivation Path Inspector—runs 100% locally inside your browser memory using native WebCrypto primitives. No network packets are transmitted, allowing you to use our utilities in completely air-gapped, offline environments.
Testing Lab & Methodology
All recovery procedures published on LayerZeroFault are tested across live hardware and testnet environments prior to publication. Our testing infrastructure includes:
Hardware Security Modules
Validation on Ledger Stax, Ledger Flex, Ledger Nano X/S+, and Trezor Safe hardware to reproduce firmware error states and derivation anomalies.
Account Abstraction Testnets
Execution of ERC-4337 EntryPoint v0.6 and v0.7 UserOperations on Sepolia, Arbitrum Sepolia, and Base test networks to isolate bundler revert codes.
WebAuthn Biometric Enclaves
Analysis of Windows Hello, Apple Secure Enclave, and Android TEE credential generation across Chromium, WebKit, and Gecko browser engines.
Autonomous AI Agents
Auditing Viem, Wagmi, and ElizaOS agent runtime environments for silent decryption errors, RPC timeouts, and non-blocking key management.
